Welcome to SHIMMER, Sheffield Hallam University's online image and multi-media database. The collection contains over 30,000 images suitable for teaching and learning in a variety of subject areas - including Art & Design, Built Environment, Tourism & Leisure, Health Studies and Student Degree Shows. Staff and students may use SHIMMER to search, select, organise and save image presentations. Images and presentations can be exported easily to PowerPoint or Html. SHIMMER also contains tools for displaying, enlarging and comparing images in the collection and comprehensive catalogue records for each image.
